What is the difference between a Wildcard and a Multi Domain SSL?

Wildcard SSL covers a main domain (for example, mydomain.com) and a few subdomains (for example, asmy.mydomain.com, etc). Please note that this certificate doesn't cover fourth-level subdomains and beyond, for example, www.asmy.mydomain.com.

Multi Domain SSL covers up to 100 unique domain names, such as mydomain1.com, mydomain2.net, etc. A Multi Domain SLL cerificate can be issued at a standard price for 3 domains. If there are more domain names to cover, the price will rise.
