What is PTR?

PTR (pointer) is a DNS record that associates an IP address with a DNS name. It is recommended that you create a PTR record for each IP address on your server.

You can change a PTR record in the detailed view of the service in your account or with a ticket to the support department.

We recommend that you use domain names located on the server as PTR records.
