What I should know about migration from a VPS to a dedicated server?

If the data is migrated to one of the activated servers, all the data on the server will be erased.
Dedicated servers have a different set of available additional services (additional IP addresses, backup space, etc.). If your VPS uses any additional services, please check whether they are compatible with dedicated servers.
Your new dedicated server will have a new IP address. Also, you will not be able to keep the additional IP addresses. If you need additional IPs, you will have to order them separately.

To do it, please take the following steps:

Choose your server and its additional services. If necessary, please submit a ticket to the customer care department. Our specialists will help you choose the most suitable plan.
Order a new server: go to the Place an Order section -> choose your server's configuration. Once you place an order, an invoice will be issued automatically.
Pay the invoice for the installation and the first month's rent fees and wait until the server is activated.
Once your new server is activated, you are free to start data migration.
Once your data is migrated, submit a request to turn the initial server off.

Important!
If your rental period ends in less than 30 days, the prepaid fee is not refunded.

To do so, please submit a corresponding ticket to the customer care department.

Important!
The migration performed by the support team is a paid service.
If we perform the migration, the invoice will include the first month's rent fee + installation fee + additional services (if necessary) + migration fee.
Once the invoice is paid, you can schedule the installation at any time that suits you (including nighttime and weekends).
Since your new server will have a new IP, please let us know if you use any software that depends on specific IP addresses. Ensure you change your IP address in the software licenses you purchased from a third party. The IP in the control panel license will be changed by our specialists.
Once your data is migrated, submit a request to turn the initial server off.

If your rental period ends in less than 30 days, the prepaid fee is not refunded.

During the migration, a snapshot of the system is created and all your data, settings, control panel, etc., are transferred as they are.
It will be necessary to update the IP address in DNS. Your additional IPs cannot be transferred. Order them separately, if needed.
The whole migration process takes from 2 to 24 hours. Delays are possible, please be patient.

You should update your DNS A records by yourself by specifying the new IP address that our specialists will communicate to you.
Once the migration is over, you will not be able to run websites in your old VPS. This may cause data corruption. Once the migration process is launched, your old VPS will be shut down.
Once your data is transferred, we will need time to reconfigure your software with new IP addresses. This takes approximately one hour.
